Notes According to John of Ephesus, Theodosius was only in Derkos, where he claims to have seen him personally. The other sources claim that Theodosius was at the other places mentioned above, in or around Alexandria, probalby following a Coptic tradition. So too, Liberatus: <in> exilium missus est iuxta basilicam aris Focse in uia quae ducit ad Stoma Ponti, uiuitque usque nunc. (he was sent into exile close to the church aris Focse on a road which leads to Stoma Ponti and he lives there until now.)
